POLICE are appealing for information following three attempted break ins at a house where a child was sleeping.
The incidents happened in Welland Avenue, Chelmsford in September.
Officers have released an efit image which we hope will prompt someone to name the person we want to speak to.
On September 23 at around 9.40pm a man attempted to gain access to a house via scaffolding outside a bedroom where a young child was sleeping.
The man is described as white with tanned skin, aged in his late 20s to early 30s, of slim build, around 5ft 8ins tall, with short black hair, clean shaven and wearing a zip-up top with a thick white stripe on each arm.
The same man was also seen looking through the back door of the same property around 2am on Wednesday, September 7 and at the same time on Friday, September 9.
The occupant saw the same man running away from her house and over the back gate.
Anyone who has any information is asked to contact Chelmsford CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
