MORE than 30 women business owners held a day of networking to raise funds for a Chelmsford children’s charity.
The event, which was organised by Bizz’ee Women, a networking group for women in business or those thinking of starting up, let members speak about their firm and swap contact details and advice.
It was held at the Burstead Golf Club in Billericay and supported Kids Inspire, which helps children who have been through a trauma.
Elicia Wisdom, the PA for Bizz’ee Women, said: “It was held like an award ceremony.
Everyone got trophies and had two minutes to give a pitch about their business.
“It was a very enjoyable day.
We met new ladies and were happy to support Kids Inspire and learn about the work they do to help children who have been through a trauma.”
The group also held a speed networking session and a raffle, with all proceeds, plus £2 from each ticket sale, going to the charity. Visit bizeewomen.co.uk
