NATURE fans can enjoy time outside with the Galleywood Heritage Centre at its Spring Bird Watch and Wildlife Event on Sunday, May 15.
The walk on Galleywood Common will begin at 9.30am and is £2 per person, although children under 16 are free.
The group will return to the centre at about 11.30am.
The Wildlife event, which is held at the centre off Margaretting Road, Chelmsford, will give visitors the opportunity to meet local wildlife groups including the Essex Bird Watching Society, RSPB, Essex Wildlife Trust, Essex Bats, Chelmsford Beekeepers, Southend Dormouse Group.
It will run between 10.30am and 2.30pm and the Horseshoe Cafe will be open for refreshments.
