THOUSANDS of women all united on Sunday with one mission in mind – to conquer cancer.
Hylands Park was filled with a pink army, made up of women wearing tutus, pink 'war paint', and backsigns with inspiring messages of hope and love pinned to their t-shirts.
Nearly 4,000 women took part in this year's Race for Life, which raises money for Cancer Research UK and sees women taking part in 5km or 10km races to raise funds to go towards cancer fighting research.
