A GROUP of musicians are hoping to entertain and relax pub-goers when they take to the floor for the latest instalment of GC’s Jazz Club.
Tim Huskisson will be one of those performing at the jazz club, which meets on the first Sunday in every month at the Woolpack, in Mildmay Road, Chelmsford.
The multi-talented musician began playing the clarinet with various traditional jazz outfits before going on to play the keyboards.
His versatility has been seen not only in the instruments he plays but the varied genres of music he has performed in as a professional musician.
He has toured with Joe Pasquale and also toured Europe as musical director for the Rocky Horror Show.
The Simon Hurley Trio will also perform. Simon, who was awarded the Centre Prize for Music, isafluent soloist and accompanist, competent in many styles from rock to blues and country to funk.
The pair will be joined by organiser Graeme Culham, on the drums, and bassist Roger Curphey.
This Sunday’s performance begins at 8.30pm and admission is free. Food will be available in the pub until 9pm.
