CHELMSFORD College has been praised in a special report by the national Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education.
It said the college met many stringent academic standards.
It also praised the quality of its learning opportunities and the information provided to students.
However, it also stated the college needed to work harder to ensure that students have access to the information that sets out their overall programme aims and what they should be able to achieve by the end of their course.
Good practice was also identified in the review.
