BUSINESSES in Brentwood will be able to apply for grants to help lower their carbon footprints after £100,000 was made available.
The EU's Low Carbon Business Programme has freed up the cash for firms in the town to apply for.
The project aims to make businesses more efficient and environmentally friendlier.
On Thursday April 3 a drop in clinic will be held at Town Hall in Ingrave Road between 10am and 6pm to offer traders more information about the scheme.
