CROOKS smashed through a home's patio doors to steal a single gold cufflink.
At some time between 2pm and 2.30pm on November 22, burglars forced their way into the property in Springfield Road, Chelmsford, and stole the item.
Police have been told two men were scene acting suspiciously near the house before the incident took place.
One is described as white, about 5ft 10ins to 5ft 11ins tall, skinny, about 19 years old and was wearing a tracksuit with grey bottoms and dark top.
The other was black, 5ft 8ins to 5ft9ins tall, aged about 19, of average build, and was wearing a tracksuit with dark bottoms and a grey top.
Officers are appealing for anyone who has information about the burglary or thinks they saw either man to contact Dc Ray Hull or his colleagues at Chelmsford CID, on 101.
