The by-election for the South Woodham, Elmwood and Woodville ward seat vacated by Tory councillor Maureen Moulds in October takes place on Thursday.
Polls will be open from 7am to 10pm with the count happening straight afterwards in Champions Manor Hall.
Standing for election are:
• Derek Barnett (Lab).
• Linda Denston (Con).
• Jeni Goldfinch (Lib Dem).
• Ian Nicholls (UKIP).
• Ian Roberts (SWF Ind).
Mrs Moulds suffered health problems leading to her having to stand down.
