A VAN driver had to be rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in four foot deep flood water.
The driver became stranded when his vehicle went into the water which had covered Hurrells Lane in Little Baddow at about 3.55pm on Friday.
Firefighters from Baddow and Leigh fire stations attended the scene to pull the male from his van and back onto dry land.
