Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 Footpath 33 Woodham Walter District of Maldon Public Path Diversion Orders 2018

The above Order confirmed on 13th June, 2018 will divert a part length of public Footpath 33 in the parish of Woodham Mortimer at the property known as Hoe Mill in the District of Maldon as shown on the Order map contained in this Order.

A part length of Footpath 33 Woodham Walter starting from grid reference 58051,20811 and heading in an east south easterly direction parallel with and on the south side of the River Chelmer and then veering to an east north easterly direction north of Hoe Mill for a distance of 354 metres to where it connects to the highway known as The Causeway will be diverted to a new route commencing from the same above point and running in a south westerly direction across the culvert then a west north westerly direction parallel to the drainage channel and finally in a south westerly direction up alongside the field edge for a total distance of 210 metres to where it connects to Bridleway 2 Woodham Walter west of Ravens Farm. A copy of the Order and Order Map have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Maldon District Council Offices, Princes Road, CM9 5DL and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of the Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.

The Order will come into effect on 11th September, 2018, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this notice, make an application to the High Court. (Benham Close, Goldhanger) (30MPH Speed Limit) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section

84(1) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To introduce a 30MPH speed limit on the following length of Benham Close,

Goldhanger in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Church Street for its entire length.

Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 2 July 2018.

Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at

County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any

provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road

Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument

made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the

date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Footpath 4, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 4, Burnham-on-Crouch in the Borough of Maldon from its junction with Creeksea Lane south east for a distance of approximately 370 metres.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd July 2018 for 6 months or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while the upgrading of Footpath 4 is undertaken.

The alternative route will be via: Creeksea Lane, B1010 Maldon Road, Springfield Road, Footpath 4 and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 3rd July 2018 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Langford Road, Ulting) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Langford Road, Ulting in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Ulting Hall Road to its junction with Crouchmans Farm Road, a distance of approximately 955m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st July 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0143064419 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works to rectify defect in carriageway works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

An alternative route is available via Crouchmans Farm Road, Ashfield Farm Road, Ulting Hall Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 21st June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Rectory Lane, Latchingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rectory Lane, Latchingdon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Burnham Road to its junction with Lower Burnham Road, a distance of approximately 1260m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd July 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2251848 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Burnham Road, Burnham Road - B1018, Main Road, Summerhill, Fambridge Road, Lower Burnham Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 21st June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
