Essex County Council (Butts Lane, Danbury)(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Butts Lane, Danbury) (Temporary Suspension of One Way) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Butts Lane, Danbury in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 21m in a northerly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the One Way in Butts Lane, Danbury in the City of Chelmsford from the junction with Hopping Jacks Lane to the junction with Maldon Road as detailed in 'The Borough Council of Chelmsford (Butts Lane and Hopping Jacks Lane, Danbury) (One Way Traffic) Order 1994.

The closure/suspension is scheduled to commence on 4th June 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000702138 -Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure/suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow disconnection works to be undertaken by Cadent Gas.
An alternative route is available via Hopping Jacks Lane, Butts Lane, Little Baddow Road, Maldon Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 24th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Erick Avenue, Broomfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Erick Avenue, Broomfield in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Main Road for a distance of approximately 20m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st May 2018 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0132984698A - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new service connection to new development works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Heathfield Road, Berwick Avenue, Skerry Rise, Broomfield Road, Main Road, Erick Avenue and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 10th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
