Zebra Crossing - Link Road, Canvey Island
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To revoke the existing 'No Waiting at Any Time' Restrictions on the following length of Link Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point as specified to allow the construction of a new Zebra Crossing: Road Description

Link Road, WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 5 metres Canvey Island south-west of the south-west kerbline of Third
Avenue, north eastwards for approximately
29.6 metres.
The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 will be varied by substituting tile number TQ780 835 revision 6 to revision 7. Notice is also hereby given that under Sections 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Essex County Council proposes to establish a Zebra Crossing on the following length of Link Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point located as follows:-Zebra Crossing Road Description

Link Road, The centre of the crossing is approximately Canvey Island 13 metres north east of the north east kerbline of Third Avenue.

(Poplars Avenue, Hawkwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Poplars Avenue, Hawkwell in the District of Rochford, from its junction with the B1013 to its junction with Woodside Chase.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 4 November 2017 between the hours of 16:45h and 21:15h or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public while a Firework
event at Belchamps Scout Activity Centre take place.
The alternative route will be via B1013, Hawkwell Chase, Elmwood
Avenue, Woodside Chase and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be
maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 4 November 2017 and may
continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been
completed, whichever is the earlier.

(No.4) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in Schedule 1.

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 9th November 2017, exact dates will be specified on http:// roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Apton Hall Road, Stambridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Apton Hall Road, Stambridge in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 550m west of its junction with Scotts Hall Road for a distance of approximately 247m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd November 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0142940068A - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new service connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water. An alternative route is available via Apton Hall Road, Scotts Hall Road, Lark Hill Road, Canewdon Road, Ashingdon Road, Brays Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
