Essex County Council (Sandford Mill Road, Springfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sandford Mill Road, Springfield in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 250m west of its junction with Chelmer Village Way, for a further 68m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th November 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (NK100/SSEMFI/100183215 -Virgin Media). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while install tee and lay 1m duct works are undertaken by Virgin Media. An alternative route is available via Brook End Road South, Kingsford Drive, Chelmer Village Way and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 19th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, City of Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.6) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the City of Chelmsford as specified in Schedule 1.
2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Borough Council of Chelmsford (Waiting, Loading and Parking Consolidation) Order 2009" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 5th October 2017, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. (Margaretting Road, Writtle) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Margaretting Road, Writtle in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 625m south of its junction with Nathans Lane for a distance of approximately 246m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th October 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231001475 - Essex Arboriculture Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cutting back of trees works are undertaken by Essex Arboriculture Ltd. An alternative route is available via Writtle Road, Wantz Road, Main Road, Whites Place Roundabout, Link Between Three Mile Hill Roundabout And Whites Place Roundabout, Three Mile Hill Roundabout, Three Mile Hill, Writtle Bypass Roundabout, Greenbury Way, Margaretting Road Roundabout, Margaretting Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 5th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 05/10/2017
