Notice of Confirmation of an Order Town & Country Planning Act Sections 257 and 261 Public Path Diversion Order 2017 Footpath 5 Woodham Mortimer in the District Of Maldon
The above Order, confirmed on 23rd June, 2017 under sections 257 and 261 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 will divert Footpath 5 at Royal Oak quarry in the parish of Woodham Mortimer in the District of Maldon as shown on the Order map contained in this Order. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily divert the footpath around the quarry perimeter until 16 February 2024 to allow continued mineral extraction in accordance with planning application no. ESS/19/14/MAL dated 11.09.14.
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Maldon District Council Offices, Princes Road, Maldon, Essex CM9 5DL and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. This Order comes into force on the date on which Essex County Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Act, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from 21 September 2017, on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 8 of Schedule 14 to that Act.
CERTIFICATE OF ORDER COMING INTO FORCE
In accordance with s257 and S261 and paragraph 8 of schedule 14 to the above Act notice is hereby given that on 07 September 2017 Essex County Council certified that the replacement rights of way required under the terms of the above order have been created to its reasonable satisfaction. (St Lawrence Road, Tillingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Lawrence Road, Tillingham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 928m east of its junction with Southminster Road, for a distance of approximately 76 m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd October 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005WP00100500227227203 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while boundry box repair works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via St Lawrence Road, St Lawrence Hill, Southminster Road, Tillingham Road, Reddings Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21st September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Downs Road, Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Downs Road, Maldon in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 86m north of its junction with Victoria road for a distance of approximately 19 m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd October 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000613417 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas service works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via North Street, Victoria Road, Downs Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21st September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 21/09/2017
