Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has received planning application from Danbury Aggregates Ltd for Continuation of use of land for mineral extraction through a revised phasing scheme without compliance with Conditions 20 (Soil Storage); 39 (Phasing Scheme) and 41 (Water Management) of planning permission ref no: ESS/19/14/MAL. - ESS/35/17/MAL Land at Royal Oak Quarry, Maldon Road, Woodham Mortimer

(Various Roads, Maldon District) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.8) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Maldon District as specified in Schedule 1.



2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



"The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 01/08/2017 exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Orplands, Bradwell-on-Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Orplands, Bradwell-on-Sea in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Maldon Road, to its junction with Waterside Road for a distance of approximately 343m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th September 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CB1W0000EA2WFA21PT1 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while renewal of faulty aerial cable works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Maldon Road, Waterside Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 27th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
