Notice of Making of an Order (Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 Footpaths 53 Galleywood in The City of Chelmsford

The above Order made on 8th March, 2017 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert a part length of public Footpath 53 Galleywood in the City of Chelmsford as shown on the Order map contained in this Order.

The effect of the Order will be to divert a part length of Footpath 53, starting from grid reference 57135,20160 and running in a north easterly direction across the meadow for a distance of 80 metres to grid reference 57142,20163. where it connects to Footpath 4 Galleywood to an alternative route commencing at the same above point and running in a generally north easterly direction, along the field boundary for a distance of 85 metres to grid reference 57142,20164 where it continues unaffected.

A further part length of Footpath 53 Galleywood starting from the south west corner of the lake at grid reference 57159,20168 and running in a north westerly direction and then a south westerly direction for a distance of 200 metres to where it connects to Footpath 4 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing at the same above point and running in a generally northerly direction on the west side of the lake for a distance of 52 metres to grid reference 57160,20173 where it connects to Footpath 57 Galleywood.

A copy of the Order and Order Map have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Chelmsford Borough Council, Civic Offices, Duke Street, Chelmsford and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of the Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.

Any representation about or objection to an Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Laurence Page and addressed to the Definitive Map Team, Essex County Council, Seax House, County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1QH, no later than 13th April, 2017 and should state the grounds on which it is made. Please include an email address with your correspondence.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order.

(Domsey Lane, Little Waltham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Domsey Lane, Little Waltham in the Chelmsford District (B), from Drakes Lane to Cranham Road for a distance approximately 353 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th May 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (BC005MU1WSEP00IBPAG3WV01 - BT) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Wheelers Hill, Leighs Road, Cranham Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 10th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Road, East Hanningfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, East Hanningfield in the Chelmsford District (B), from its junction with Middlemead to its junction with Southend Road for a distance approximately 2285m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th May 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (BC005CA789W00000IBK11TMY -BT) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new cable for customers works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Middlemead, South Hanningfield Road, Main Road, Southend Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 17th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Pertwee Drive, Great Baddow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pertwee Drive, Great Baddow in the Chelmsford District (B), from outside number 32 for a distance approximately 24m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th May 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EC30034764805 - UK Power Networks) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

The Order will come into effect on 16th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Boreham Road, Great and Little Leighs) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Boreham Road, Great and Little Leighs in the Chelmsford District (B), from its junction with Drakes Lane to its junction with Noakes Lane for a distance approximately 455 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th May 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (BC005CB1W0000000EA2TJN73 - BT) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works works are undertaken by BT.

(Lower Green, Galleywood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lower Green, Galleywood in the Chelmsford District (B), from Ponds Road to Rignals Lane for a distance of approximately 469 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th April 2017 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (NK100/ SSEMPL/100130681 - Virgin Media) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while lay new service works are undertaken by Virgin Media.

An alternative route is available via Stock Road, Watchouse Road, Pipers Tye and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th April 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Noakes Avenue, Great Baddow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Noakes Avenue, Great Baddow in the Chelmsford District, from a point 270m east of junction with Dorset Ave for a distance approximately 75m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th May 2017 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EC30034765638 - UK Power Networks) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electrical service works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Dorset Avenue, Rothmans Avenue and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Lower Stock Road, West Hanningfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lower Stock Road, West Hanningfield in the Chelmsford District, from its junction with Kents Farm Lane to Slough House Farm for a distance approximately 281 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th June 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (BC005CC11W000000IBPM78PH - BT) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement of telegraph pole works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Lower Stock Road, Kents Farm Lane, Ship Road, Holliday Hill and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 8th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
