(Mill Street, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2016

(Mill Street, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Street, in the Parish of Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring from its junction with Whitegate Road to its junction with East End Green. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th December 2016 for three days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to restore customer service is undertaken. The alternative route will be via Hurst Green, Chapel Road, Robinson Road and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 14th December 2016 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Maldon Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maldon Road, in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Beaconsfield Avenue, north for approximately 100 metres to its junction with Alexandra Road.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 15 December 2016 for one night or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement of manhole frame and cover in clearway is undertaken. The alternative route will be via Lexden Road, Straight Road, Shrub
End Road, Maldon Road, and vice versa. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 15 December 2016 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Mill Road, Myland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Road, in the Parish of Myland in the Borough of Colchester from its junction with Turner Road to its junction with A134. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th December 2016 for one night 19:00 to 05:00 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repairs are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Turner Road, A134 and vice versa. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 16th December 2016 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Osborne Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Osborne Street, in the Borough of Colchester from the southbound carriageway of St Botolphs Street, west to the St Botolphs Street northbound slip from St Botolphs Circus Roundabout.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th December 2016 for one night 23:59 to 05:00 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repairs are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via St Botolphs Street, St Botolphs Circus, St Botolphs Street and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 16th December 2016 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Footpath 27, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 7 July 2017. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 27, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, the south eastern end between the boundary fencing on either side of the railway which is at the northern end of public footpaths 28 & 42 (from Chapel Croft to the railway boundary and Frating Road and Morrow Lane to the railway boundary).
The closure commenced on 7 July 2016 and is required for the safety of the public due to insufficient sighting of approaching trains. Liz Burr, Head of Network Management, County Hall, Chelmsford
