Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has received an application from T&K Weavers for a Certificate of Lawfulness for the use of the land edged red on drawing Site Location Plan K153.1-20-002 as an non-hazardous and inert waste recycling facility to include the importation of inert waste, the sorting and treatment of inert waste materials to recover aggregates, hardcore, soils, through manual sorting and separation and the use of crushers and a screeners. The export of recovered materials, including aggregates, hardcore, soils and the export of residual waste. The said use shall not take place outside the hours of Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm. In addition, maintenance and repairs associated with the said use shall not take place outside the hours of Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm and only maintenance will occur on a Saturday 7am to 12:30pm at Ferriers Farm Pit, Ferriers Lane, Bures Hamlet, CO8 5DL - ESS/82/19/BTE. The grant of a Certificate of Lawful Use depends entirely on factual evidence about the history and planning status of the building or other land. Representations must focus on whether, on the balance of probability, the use being applied for has been carried out on the site for a period of ten years or more, without enforcement action being taken.

(Colchester Road, Coggeshall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 220m west of its junction with the A120 for a distance of approximately 90m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18/11/2019 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034827916 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via A120 From J A131/b1256 To J B1024 North of Coggeshall, Coggeshall Bypass, A120 From J B1024 North of Coggeshall To J B1024 East of Coggeshall and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 07/11/2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
