Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 District of Maldon Public Path Diversion Order Footpaths 2,4 and, 5 Tolleshunt Darcy The above Orders have been confirmed with modifications by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs on 22nd October, 2019. These Orders are for B Footpath 2 Tolleshunt Darcy, C: Footpaths 4 and 5 Tolleshunt Darcy.

The above Orders have been confirmed with modifications by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs on 22nd October, 2019. These Orders are for B Footpath 2 Tolleshunt Darcy, C: Footpaths 4 and 5 Tolleshunt Darcy.

The modifications concern the wording in the Orders: On both Orders the addition wording should be inserted at the end of Article 1: "but not before the date on which the local highway authority for the new highway mentioned in article 2 certifies that such work has been carried out as required to be done to bring the new site of the footpath into a fit condition for use by the public." On both Orders the addition wording should be inserted in line 1 of part 2 of the Schedules: "measured from the face of the hedge or any other boundary feature" after "A footpath being 2 metres in width". For Order B in line 3 of part 2 of the Schedule additional wording should be inserted "and over a footbridge at point KA" after "southern boundary of the field". Under the new heading 'PART 3 Limitations and Conditions', insert "Agap at point KA" after "southern boundary of the field" A new point KA has been added to the Order Map. For Order C on line 3 the words "and the occupier" should be inserted after the words "in the interest of the owner. Under the new heading 'Part 3 Limitations and Conditions' insert "A gap at point Z to BS5709:2018. A part length of Footpath 2 Tolleshunt Darcy commencing from grid reference 59127,21244 and running in an east south easterly direction across the field and crossing the Limes Brook for a distance of 625 metres to where it connects to Footpath 4 Tolleshunt Darcy will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in a south easterly direction along the southern boundary of the field and then in a generally southerly direction parallel with and along the west side of the stream known as Limes Brook for a distance of 791 metres to grid reference 59158,21183 where it connects to Footpath 3 Tolleshunt Darcy. A part length of Footpath 4 Tolleshunt Darcy commencing from grid reference 59161,21182 where it connects to Footpath 3 and running in a north easterly direction through the buildings of Frame Farm then a north north easterly direction and then a northerly direction for a distance of 530 metres to grid reference 59186,21262 where it connects to Footpath 2 Tolleshunt Darcy. It then continues in a northerly direction then a generally east north easterly direction around Limesbrook Farm before becoming Footpath 5 Tolleshunt Darcy for a distance of 535 metres to grid reference 59228,21250 where it connects to the highway known as the Kelvedon Road will be diverted to a new route commencing at grid reference 59233,21178 where it connects to Footpath 3 and running in a north north easterly direction and then a westerly direction for a distance of 390 metres to grid reference 59227,21208 and then in a north north easterly direction for a distance of 380 metres to grid reference 59234,21245 where it connects to the Kelvedon Road. A copy of these Orders and Order Maps have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Maldon District

Council Offices, Princes Road, CM9 5DL and at County Hall, Market Road, Chelmsford CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies of the Orders and Order maps are available on request from the County Hall at a charge. If any person aggrieved by an order, wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, make an application to the High Court. (Hoe Mill Road/The Causeway, Ulting/Woodham Walter) (Temporary Introduction of a 6'6" Width Limit) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 6'6" width limit in that length of Hoe Mill Road/The Causeway Ulting/ Woodham Walter in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 55m northwest of its junction with Manor Road, for a distance of 75m in a northwesterly direction. The width limit is scheduled to commence on 15/11/2019 for 533 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10002869 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one. network. The width restriction is to enforce the structural weight limit over Hoe Mill Bridge. The Order came into effect on 07/11/2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Green Lane, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Green Lane, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Mangapp Chase for a distance of approximately 75m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 04/12/2019 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W0004DECEASFN200 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

www.roadworks.org

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Southminster Road, Church Road, Maldon Road, Green Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 21/11/2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
