BLACK Bull retained the Ridley League Dominoes Cup with another remorseless team show to make as Dog & Partridge fell short at the final hurdle once again.
The Dog took the second series of games to leave the match poised at 3-3.
But a final-round whitewash meant they finished the season as runners-up in the dominoes and darts team competitions.
May McGowan and Sue Steele won three out of three for the Black Bull.
Compasses wound up the league season in style, clinching the Darts League title and rising to third in the overall table with a crushing 14-1 result in their postponed fixture at the Red Beret.
