CHELMSFORD City completed an impressive comeback to beat Bath City 2-1 and maintain their 100 per cent start to the National League South season.

Kudus Oyenuga and Lee Barnard were on target once again for the Clarets, having trailed at half-time in the National League South clash.

A deflected shot from Ryan Case had put Bath into a fifth-minute lead, in what was a lively opening.

Micky Spillane cleared off the line as Bath continued to press, although Oyenuga had the ball in the net on 20 minutes, only for the offside flag to halt any celebrations.

Oyenuga missed another chance, but made sure he opened his account for the afternoon after half-time.

Michael West knocked the ball down and he blasted past Luke Southwood in the home goal.

The winner came 15 minutes from time. Spillane was hauled down in the penalty area and Barnard scored from the spot for the second successive game.

Chelmsford welcome joint table-toppers St Albans City tonight.
