The Ridley League, celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, is looking for new member clubs in Chelmsford, Dunmow, Braintree and Witham.
And the club’s secretary says it is a great chance to meet new people.
Caroline Kochan said: “For the last two years, all our clubs have won at least one trophy on finals night. I doubt that happens in many leagues, and it’s due to our system. Good darts teams are always a great asset, but our strength is that a balanced darts-dominoes line-up will often upset them.
“Some clubs seem to be put off because they’ve not played dommies, but it’s an easy game to pick up.”
Interested clubs are welcome at the annual meeting at Felsted Chequers on Tuesday, July 18 at 8pm. Otherwise call 07824 531 306.
