MILL Green Cricketers grabbed the headlines in a week of eye-catching results.

Dan Taylor and Shane Kochan drove Cricketers to a 10-5 win against champions Dog & Partridge, and that was a result that came as a relief to leaders Black Bull after their 9-6 loss at the Chequers.

Little Waltham were stunned as City had another night where nothing went wrong. Waltham’s Tony Bamsey lost two of his three games, City’s Harry Cove scored a 180, and City won 5-1 in the dominoes.

Even the Compasses’ hammering of Bird in Hand wasn’t without its shock element, with the Bird jolting their hosts’ league bid.

Entry numbers for the men’s singles are needed on Tuesday, February 7 meeting at Little Waltham SC (8pm).
