SPRINGFIELD Striders enjoyed another golden day at the Felsted 10k which doubled up as the Essex Championships.
There were four individual golds with Mark Newton being crowned county champion in a time of 33.25, while Gavin Allen took the V40 in 34.12.
Kate Mills became V45 champion and smashed the club record with her time of 39.30, with Sheila Macaulay taking the V65 category.
Striders took both team golds with James Smith joining Newton and Allen for the men and Sam Bilbie and Jackie Stretton victorious with Mills. Bilbie won bronze in the race and also took silver in the V35.
