CHELMSFORD City moved up a place in the National League South table following a 4-1 home win over Maidenhead United this afternoon.

The Clarets are 14th after two goals from on-loan Jack Bridge and strikes from Billy Bricknell and Luke Daley ensured the win.

Bricknell opened the scoring in the 23rd minute and Bridge, on loan from Southend United, was on target five minutes later to give the hosts a 2-0 half-time lead.

James Comley reduced the arrears in the 59th minute but Daley restored the two-goal advantage in the 75th minute.

And Bridge made the points safe four minutes later with his second of the game to erase thoughts of last Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Truro City and make it three wins out of four for caretaker manager Kevin Maher's side.
