CHELMSFORD City will be hoping it is third time lucky on Saturday when they are due to host Margate at the Melbourne Stadium.
Last weekend’s match away at Havant & Waterlooville was postponed, with February 6’s trip to Hemel Hempstead also meaning the Clarets have had no National League South action for a fortnight.
Margate won 4-1 when the sides met at Hartsdown Park on January 16 in Mark Hawkes’ last league game as manager.
Caretaker boss Kevin Maher’s team head into Saturday’s game in 16th place with Margate 11 points ahead of them in seventh place following their 2-1 win over Basingstoke on Saturday.
