CHELMSFORD Chieftains take on Invicta Dynamos tonight gunning for their first silverware of the season.

A point from their cup encounter with the Kent visitors will be enough for Chelmsford to win the South East Cup with a game in hand.

Face-off at the Riverside is 8pm.

The Chieftains warmed up for their cup clash with a 3-1 win over Milton Keynes Thunder at the Riverside on Sunday night.

Billy Phillips scored a goal on his Chieftain’s debut and Ross Brears and Grant Bartlett were also on target for the hosts.

Chelmsford are six points clear at the top of NIHL Division 1 South after Invicta Dynamos dropped a point on the Isle of Wight at the weekend. from the Cup encounter with Invicta to become winners of the South East Cup, with one game still remaining in the competition.

Tonight’s game at Riverside faces-off at 8pm.
