CHELMSFORD City came back from a goal down to secure their place in the quarter-finals of the Essex Senior Cup.

The Clarets defeated Witham Town 3-1 last night to set up a trip to National League South rivals Concord Rangers.

Nathan Koranteng gave the Ryman One North visitors a first-half lead but Chelmsford equalised through Lee Sawyer in the second half at Melbourne Stadium.

And Billy Bricknell netted a brace in the last five minutes to put the Clarets through.

Mark Hawkes' team will travel to the Aspects Arena to face the Beachboys on or before January 16, 2016, in the last eight of the county cup.
