BRIAN Terry of Old Chelmsfordians FC is the 2015 Essex County FA Groundsman of the Year.
Tillingham Hotspur FC finished in second place thanks to the efforts of Terry Lewis and Eric Gallacher of Writtle FC secured third position.
The awards recognise hours of effort throughout the year from football’s volunteer workforce at Step Seven or below in the pyramid (including youth football).
The top three places were all filled by clubs with teams in the Mid Essex League. Old Chelmsfordians compete in the Mid Essex on Saturdays as well as the Pope & Smith Chelmsford Sunday League.
