Chelmsford & District Sunday Social League League Cup, Semi-finals.

Having wrapped up the league title last weekend, Barlows Park Rangers turned their attention to the cup and booked a place in the final at the expense of Warley Town. Ricky Gosling bagged a brace for the Town but a brace from Dan Schultz and strikes from Joe Waller and Will Archibald saw Rangers through.

Premier Division Clay Pigeon leapfrogged back over Banjax at the wrong end of the table with a victory over high flying Kerfuffle FC in a seven-goal thriller. Alex Lofthouse, Harry Green and Phil Goddard with a brace were too much for Paul Richardson’s hat trick.

Banjax entertained Athletico Chelmer who took an early lead. James Carter levelled for Banjax, but Athletico retook the lead before half time. The second half saw Athletico slot home two more without reply.
