TOM Davis' penalty miss saw Chelmsford City crash out of the Essex Senior Cup on Tuesday night.

The fourth round tie away at Concord Rangers had to be decided by spot kicks after Leon Gordon's 88th equaliser cancelled out Rob Edmans' eighth minute strike.

Despite Mark Hughes and Christian Smith putting their penalties past Beachboys goalkeeper Jamie Butler the following three from Kieron St Aimie, Edmans and Sam Long were all saved.

This sent the shoot-out into sudden death and another save by Butler sent the home side through to the Quarter Finals.
