Chelmsford City v Weston-super-Mare preview
3:03pm Thursday 29th August 2013 in Local Sport
THE Seagulls make the trip from Somerset to take on Dean Holdsworth’s Chelmsford City side who have registered one win, one draw and one loss from their opening three games.
Meanwhile, Weston-Super-Mare have recorded two wins against Dorchester Town and Basingstoke respectively and find themselves eighth in the league standings with six points, having entertained one more fixture than the Clarets.
The Seagulls have also notched two defeats at the hands of Eastbourne Borough and Havant and Waterloovile.
After Monday’s defeat to Tonbridge, Clarets’ boss Dean Holdsworth said: “We know this is still very early days in the season and the players still haven't had much time to gel.
"They're starting to understand more of what we want from them all the time and it was pleasing to see that we dominated possession a lot more today [versus Tonbridge Angels] than in the other two games.
"We've learned more about ourselves today [versus Tonbridge Angels], so now we'll move on and concentrate on the Weston game next Saturday."
