CHELMSFORD City goalkeeper Stuart Searle has thanked Clarets fans for their support after his suspected leg break suffered in Saturday's game was later diagnosed as severe bone bruising.
The City custodian, who was stretchered off and taken to hospital after just 12 minutes of the 6-2 victory over Hayes & Yeading United at Melbourne, will continue to be monitored and is currently moving around on crutches.
Meanwhile, central midfielder Sam Corcoran has been released with the best wishes of the club.
The former Colchester United man has made a total of 14 appearances for Chelmsford this season.
