CHELMSFORD City Manager Glenn Pennyfather hopes the signing of Macclesfield Town central midfielder Junior Konadu on loan for one month from this Monday will add "more competition for places" amongst an already talented Clarets squad.
Also known as Junior Yiadom, he's been viewed as 'one of the rising stars of non-league football' who has found First Team starts limited with the Silkmen recently due to the form of other players at the club.
Junior was with St Neots Town last season, helping them to finish as Southern League Division One Central champions with 93 points.
Prior to this he had been with local sides Leyton and Ilford.
