A QUARTET from Colchester Swimming Club have been selected to represent the Essex at this year’s Junior Inter-Counties Team Championships.
Alfie Francis, Charlotte Norman, Charlie Pryke, Louis Walker have all been called up for the event, which will be contested by ten to 13 year-olds.
Colchester SC head coach Michelle Young said: “The Junior Inter-Counties Champs is always a fun, colourful and competitive event played out in front of a packed house.
"Selection was made using GB rankings for long course times and it is wonderful that four of our swimmers have been picked to represent Essex.
"The ongoing commitment that they have all made to their sport is really paying off.”
The Championships will be held at Inspire: Luton Sports Village on Sunday, September 16.
