YOUNGSTERS showed their skills during a keenly-fought school hockey tournament.
The event was organised by Rob Southgate, on behalf of the Harwich Sports Association, and was held on the all-weather pitch at Dovercourt's Chase Lane Primary School.
Eight teams took part, playing games in two leagues.
After some very competitive play of a high standard, four teams emerged to play in the semi-finals
The final saw some magnificent hockey and was between Two Village Primary School and Ardleigh St Marys Primary School.
Two Village Primary School emerged as the winners, with Ardleigh St Marys Primary School runners-up.
The Fair Play Trophy was awarded to Great Oakley Primary School.
