Colchester United ran out 3-1 winners at Leyton Orient after their ill-fated game at Brisbane Road was completed in bizarre circumstances - two hours after play was suspended.
Referee Carl Boyeson played the six minutes plus stoppage time that were required to finish the match, after it was abandoned because of a pitch protest.
Orient played out the final minutes of the contest by keeping their possession in their own half, after Colchester had restarted the game by kicking the ball back to keeper Sam Sargeant.
Colchester had taken a first-half lead through Tarique Fosu, before Sandro Semedo equalised in the second half.
Two goals in three minutes from Chris Porter and Macauley Bonne put the U's 3-1 up, before the match was abandoned with six minutes remaining because of a fan invasion from several hundred Orient supporters who were protesting against owner Francesco Becchetti.
But two hours after the abandonment and with the stadium virtually empty, the game was finished and Colchester secured a big win.
