IN-FORM Trevor Hollingsworth carded a par-five birdie and a pair of pars to win Playgolf Colchester's All Winners Cup.

Hollingsworth (19) scored nett 69 to see off a field made up from the previous year’s competition winners.

Junior member Jack Moutell (seven) was runner-up with nett 70 after carding ten pars and a par-four birdie as part of his lowest gross 77.

In-form Chitraj Limbu (16) was third on countback from Cord Plasse (ten), after both players carded nett 71.

Limbu scored well again with an above-average six pars, with Plasse unlucky to miss out with 11 pars.

The Also-Ran Shield was held before the All-Winners Cup, with Dean Rainbird (15) carding four pars and a pair of back nine birdies to win on countback from Sam Durrant (14).

Durrant carded six pars and two birdies to beat Dave Evans (21) who was third on countback from Lee Whitten (15), after both players carded 33 points.

Judith Peeling won division one of the Ladies’ Two Clubs and a Putter competition with 30 points.

Kyung Cho was two points off the pace in second while Pauline Coxon was third ahead of Liz Shultz, with countback needed to separate them.

Maureen Dale won division two with 30 points, pipping Jennie Boyden by a point and Jeanette Shea finished third.

There was a good-sized field for the Playgolf Seniors Spring Cup medal competition, with some good scores returned.

The winning score of nett 68 needed countback to separate winner Greg King (20) and runner-up Bernard Keyes (23).
