Braintree Town striker Charlie Strutton will continue his comeback from ankle surgery with a loan spell at Vanarama National League South side Hayes and Yeading.
Strutton has been building his fitness over the last few months and has returned to action with three outings for Braintree Town Reserves in Thurlow Nunn League division one in recent weeks.
Manager Danny Cowley said he was pleased with how his striker had come through those three games and Strutton will now step up his rehabilitation at Hayes and Yeading.
He will be available to face former Braintree manager Alan Devonshire's Maidenhead United side in the Vanarama National League South today.
Braintree, meanwhile, find themselves back in Vanarama National League action with a home game against Aldershot Town (kick-off 3pm).
Cowley's side head into the game on the back of three wins and are unbeaten in their last four games.
