WE need your support.
That’s the message from FC Clacton co-owner Stephen Andrews, heading into Saturday’s eagerly-awaited home showdown against Ipswich Wanderers.
After a string of postponements, the Thurlow Nunn League premier division clash will be the first at the Rush Green Bowl since way back in November.
Andrews says the lack of first-team action has put the club under a “huge financial strain”, due to a lack of revenue from gate money and bar takings.
And he has issued a rallying cry for Clacton’s followers to get behind their team by turning up and supporting them on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm).
"This Saturday, of all days, we really need people to support us," he said.
