Colchester United say they are prepared to consider any offers for their out of favour midfielder Craig Eastmond - if a move is right for both parties.
Tony Humes has said they have had no interest in the former Arsenal youngster from clubs looking to sign him on loan or permanently.
But the U’s boss admitted that he has spoken to Eastmond about the possibility of him moving away from the U’s, should contact be made.
Eastmond has been omitted from Colchester’s last two squads and has not started for them since Boxing Day.
Humes said: “Craig has to knuckle down hard and try and get back in the team.
“But we’ve chatted to him and we’ve said to him that if something does happen, we’ll look at it if it’s right for both parties.
“But no-one has shown any interest, so we can’t consider that.”
