STANWAY ROVERS switch their attention from one cup competition to another tonight.

The Thurlow Nunn League side have a League Cup quarter-final date at home to Godmanchester Rovers.

The Cambridgeshire side head into the tie on the back of a crazy 11-3 victory at home to FC Clacton on Saturday.

Stanway welcome back Mike Fondop-Talun, who has missed recent matches due to suspension.

“It’s another big game tonight,” said manager Harrop, whose side booked their place in the last 16 of the FA Vase on Saturday.

“I banned the players from having any alcohol after our great win at the weekend but wasn’t holding out too much hope with that one!

“Mike’s our main striker and he was in great form before the suspension.

“For me, he’s as good as anyone in our league so to have him back strengthens us even more.

"It’s a massive bonus.

“We go into the tie with confidence but have to prepare right because it’s another tough game.”
