Dedham's Alex Moon has been selected to train with England Rugby’s under-18s.
The Northampton Saints Academy starlet is currently boarding at Sedbergh School, in Cumbria.
He and four of his school-mates have all been chosen to train with their respective national teams.
And second row Moon has been picked by England.
He has previously played for his country at under-16 level and came off the bench in an under-17 match against France.
His Sedbergh School team are currently top of the Daily Mail League.
And he says playing regularly and training four times a week has made a massive difference to his development.
“Both on the rugby field and in the classroom, Sedbergh has helped me develop,” said Moon, whose parents live in Dedham.
“Training four times a week, along with many strength and conditioning sessions, has massively contributed to my rugby and physical development, both of which are key if I want to achieve my goal of becoming a professional player.
“Both of my first-team coaches have really pushed me during the two years I’ve spent with them and I owe a lot to both of them.”
