Colchester United striker Dan Holman has signed for Conference Premier side Aldershot Town on a month's loan.
Holman, who has recently returned to the U's following an unproductive loan spell at Wrexham, will be looking for game time at the Shots and is eligible for their FA Cup clash with Torquay United tomorrow.
U's boss Tony Humes said: "We're hoping that Aldershot give him minutes on the pitch.
"Dan has been away with Wrexham and played 35 minutes during that time, so he's still not where we want him in terms of match fitness and sharpness.
"By going to Aldershot he can hopefully get those minutes and we'll see where he goes from there."
