CHELMSFORD City have signed Jai Reason, Alex Akrofi, Tom Wraight, Amos Nasha and Tom Anderson ahead of the 2018/19 National League South campaign.
Wraight, who was born in Chelmsford, Anderson and Reason make the move from Maidstone United in the National League, with central midfielder Nasha linking up from Essex rivals Concord Rangers.
The club have also retained the services of a number of key players.
Michael Spillane, Max Porter, Jonny Giles, Taylor Miles and Elliot Omozusi have all agreed to stay at the Melbourne Stadium.
Long-serving central defender Mark Haines has also penned a deal for another season. The popular centre half has already amassed more than 250 appearances for the club in his nine year spell.
Captain Anthony Church has also agreed to stay at the club.
Goalkeeper Sam Beasant has left the club, making the switch to league rivals Concord.
