Chelmsford City’s National League South season preparations continued with wins against Thurrock and Enfield Town.

A 3-1 win against Isthmian Premier League side Enfield and a 2-1 victory over Thurrock, also of that division, has completed a good week in pre-season.

Although they fell behind after two minutes at Enfield, goals from Michael West, Chris Dickson and Michael Spillane turned the game around.

Against Fleet, Kudos Oyenuga’s trickery created the opening goal for Kane Haysman, before Jordan Clark levelled from the penalty spot.

And Oyenuga got the winner with 20 minutes remaining.

Clarets complete pre-season against Sutton United on Saturday, before the league campaign begins.
