Chelmsford A are the 2016 Central Essex Summer Table Tennis League champions and they won the title in some style amassing 22 points out of 30.
They also won all six of their matches and in Ryan Gooday they had the League’s outstanding player. He won all of his 10 singles.
Danbury A (Steve Buer and Chris Buer) finished second with 18 points ahead of Rayne A, who also scored 18 points.
Writtle A (Matthew Brown and Hector Rogers) were runaway winners of division two scoring a massive 27 points out of 30. Brown won all 11 singles he played.
Their only really closely contested match, a 3-2 victory was against second-laced Buttsbury A, who were clear runners-up with 20 points.
OCs C took the third division title with 23 points out of 30, and Dave Porter was their talisman staying undefeated in his 12 singles. They had a healthy four point cushion over Chelmsford C.
Writtle B (26 points) are the division four champions and won the title with their final match.
