CHELMSFORD Rugby Club face a massive game this weekend when they host Barking.

Victory would see the hosts safe from London One North relegation but a win for Barking and no bonus point for Chelmsford would leave them needing to get something out of their final game with Chingford.

They would also need league leaders Amersham & Chiltern to beat Barking.

Chelmsford suffered a 60-20 defeat away to Letchworth on Saturday as the hosts ran in eight tries to their visitors’ two.

Letchworth regularly found gaps in the Chelmsford defence and exploited them.

The visitors found themselves 20-0 down before centre Adam Cunnah scored a try that was converted by Simon Hoult to make it 20-7 at half time.

Two penalties from Simon Hoult made it 20-13 but then Letchworth took control to take a commanding 60-13.

Substitute Jack Acorn scored a try and Simon Hoult again converted to make it 60-20 at full time.
