TORI Clark scored two and Thea Franklin the other goal as Chelmsford Ladies’ first team defeated Hampstead & Westminster 3-2 in EHL Conference East.

Hampstead trailed 3-0 at half-time but fought back, although Chelmsford held out. Chelmsford travel to Sevenoaks on Saturday.

Chelmsford’s men’s first team went down 5-2 on a high-paced East Prem A match with Old Loughtonians.

Rayner equalised but Loughts took the lead again. only for Blake to level from close range.

But Loughts scored three more goals to secure the win. Chelmsford host Dereham this weekend.

The ladies’ third team thrashed Southend 6-0 to avenge their Essex Premier defeat earlier in the season.

Kirsty Caddick scored on her Chelmsford debut and the other goals came from Wilkinson (2), Dalton, Hull (2) in the first half and McDonald in the second half. Chelmsford III face Phoenix this weekend.

The ladies’ fifth team won 2-1 against Harlow in Essex Division Three thanks to goals from Kirsty Dailly and Ella Knight, her first for the fifths.
